The predicted salary is between 39715 - 39715 £ per year.
Salary and Working Hours
Salary: £39,715 per annum (national). A weekend supplement for Saturday (£52.10 per attendance) shift attendance is applicable. Overtime is paid at 1.4X the hourly rate.
Working hours: Full time – 39.50 hours per week (rotating shift pattern; week 1: 06:00–14:30, week 2: 11:30–20:00).

The Role
With a fleet of over 49,000 vehicles, maintaining our vehicles is a real team effort. With the opportunity to work on a range of makes and models of vehicle, there couldn’t be a better time to join Royal Mail as a Vehicle Technician.
Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of inspections, diagnosis, maintenance and repair procedures on a range of vehicle, trailers and mechanical equipment operated by Royal Mail Group.
- Be prepared to go the extra mile to ensure the job is done effectively.
- Have your own personal toolkit equipped to undertake routine maintenance and repair of light/heavy vehicles.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified to at least advanced level (IMI Level 3 in Heavy vehicle maintenance & repair or an equivalent qualification).
- Proven experience (via CV) of working on a wide range of vehicles for example LCV/LGV.Full manual driving licence (LGV preferred with trailer experience).
