Location: Exeter Delivery Office, EX1 2AA

Job type: Fixed Term contract 9 months

Hours: 27:30 hours per week, Monday‑Saturday 14:30‑20:00 and Sunday 10:00‑15:30

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday according to a local rota.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards. Prepping your van and workload for the day, you will use route‑planning technology tools to ensure each parcel gets to the right place, at the right time. You deliver much more than parcels – you deliver for the people.

  • Possess a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

  • A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 per hour (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours).
  • Paid overtime, with an enhanced rate of 1.25 for any hours worked over 40 hours a week.
  • 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to your working hours if below 40 hours a week).
