Overview

Royal Mail P&FS are recruiting for Cleaning Operatives at Looe Delivery Office. Barbican Road, Looe. PL13 1DH.

What you will do

  • Be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting and sanitising surfaces to a high standard, safely and professionally.
  • Operate cleaning equipment; full training is provided with a first day induction. The role is physically challenging and involves manual handling activities.

Details

Pay: £12.21 per hour.

Benefits: 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years’ service, plus bank holidays, uniform, PPE, employee referral scheme and Defined Contribution pension scheme, plus car parking.

Contract type: Permanent

Working hours: Part time, 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (1 hour shift). Working anytime between 8am and 4pm.

About You

  • Previous cleaning experience is desired, but not essential.
  • Naturally friendly, with good written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with customers and managers while complying with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Reliable, self-motivated with a keen eye for detail; able to work on your own initiative and manage your time.
