Job type: Permanent contract
Hours: 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday with flexibility for some weekend work, various shifts, various start and finish times.
The Traffic Office Administrator is a vital role at Nottingham Mini VOC as it plays a part in supporting a safe, efficient and cost-effective fleet. Standards and methodology must be followed while you:
- Ensure that the Distribution Management System is kept up to date and data correctly input daily.
- Ensure that Isotrak, Business Asset Tracker and Vision FTA, the system we use to record our HGV drivers hours, is kept up to date and data correctly input daily in order to ensure that we comply with European Legislation.
- Ensure digital tacho cards are downloaded in line with Royal Mail policy and monitor
- Issues raised to consulted upon and passed onto shift manager if necessary
- Ensure planned maintenance is carried out for vehicles and that the maintenance board and vehicle files are kept up to date supporting all sites.
- In addition, the role will be required to cover additional admin duties as and when required.
A bit about you
- Organised, independent and self-motivated
- Knowledge of safety and legal requirements, including drivers\' hours legislation, vehicle checks, Safe Systems of Work, risk assessments and accident investigation
- Industry experience and working knowledge of the mail and parcel operation preferred
- Computer literate with good numeracy and literacy skills, and good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Able to input data to set deadlines whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times
