Reporting into the Head of Product Tower Management, you will be the accountable owner managing the strategic development roadmap for your Tower, gaining agreement of the prioritisation for opportunities that will align to support the overall commercial business plan and business strategy.
About the role
To truly excel in the role, you’ll possess the key skills and experience listed below:
• Project/Programme Manager / Delivery Manager experienced in business transformation environments • Creation, owner of the Investment Case, delivery from cradle to grave
• Management of complex portfolio and programme environments
• Expert planner from high level executive communication in order to summarise and gain decision through to detailed project planning within a dependency driven plan
• Ability to get into weeds of the detail to support the team on navigating and understanding complex issues in order to quickly gain decision and recovery
• Track against plans, finance, RAID, manage and escalate as required
• Demonstrate sound P&L understanding with ability to forecast and track financials within a cross-functional environment
• Understand and deliver within complex governance and process models, whilst guiding others
• Experience of Waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery models
• In this role you will lead and agree the prioritisation and the development workstack with the sponsor and key stakeholders creating the strategic roadmap for the Tower, which will be owned and managed by you. You will be the ‘development arm’ on behalf of the Product/Feature owners for our Letters, Parcels items.
You will be responsible for the creation of the Investment Case(s) and then use your expertise and experience to safely deliver the amendments to market, realising the Return on Investments that have been promised.

• Full delivery experience across complicated cross-functional portfolios spanning many years and multi-million £ budgets
• Expert in the creation and tracking of detailed integrated cross-functional project plans for projects/programmes/portfolios, monitoring the delivery of the key milestones, outcomes and benefits of each release, leading to successful delivery • Demonstrate project Finance build, tracking and controls of £multi-million budgets
• Demonstrate knowledge of the full project/programme lifecycle at detailed level
• Cross-functional responsibility, focusing on the outcomes delivered by the project, to enable delivery of the project benefits whilst delivering the key Technical, Operational and Commercial aspects of the delivery
• Experienced in delivering in high-pressure environments, successfully delivering strategic capability to market
• Experience with demanding adherence to documented processes and governance with detailed understanding of Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid ways of working
