Responsibilities
- Unloading letters and parcels from vans
- Moving mail through our centres
- Helping sort letters and parcels by postcode
Seasonal earnings
We offer a variety of shifts, so finding one that suits you should be simple. Shift patterns include:
- Earlies: 06:00 - 14:00 (£13.07 p/h) - Tyneside Mail Centre Only
- Lates: 14:00 - 22:00 (£14.48 p/h)
- Nights: 22:00 - 06:00 (£15.74 p/h) - Tyneside Mail Centre Only
- Weekends: Various shifts available (as above p/h) - Tyneside Mail Centre Only
Please note, night shifts are not available to applicants under 18.
Many of our sites offer an onsite canteen, social areas for breaktimes and access to a subsidised gym.
What you\\\'ll need
- A positive attitude and team spirit
- Organised and comfortable working in busy environment - independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable working on your feet, pushing / pulling trolleys (up to 250kg with wheels!), and handling items up to 11kg.
- Willingness to be flexible and switch tasks as needed.
You don\\\'t need any previous experience - full training will be provided.
