The predicted salary is between 26300 - 26300 £ per year.

Salary: £26,300 plus 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays rising with service and a company pension scheme with highly competitive contribution rates.

Permanent, Full time Peterborough / Leeds - 3x per week in office (Subject to business change).

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Sales Development Representative to support new business growth within our Parcels, Express and International markets. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to build on developed sales techniques, or someone early in their sales career to build pipeline, develop strong customer relationships, and play a key role in driving commercial success.

About the Role
  • Generate high-quality new business opportunities through proactive outbound activity and lead follow-up.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects across a defined territory.
  • Execute sales and marketing campaigns to drive engagement and demand.
  • Qualify leads and convert them into opportunities for the wider sales team.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and meet key performance metrics such as call volume and conversion rates.
  • Act quickly on inbound and outbound leads to maximise conversion potential.
  • Collaborate closely with field sales and agency partners to ensure seamless handover and pipeline growth.
About You
  • Motivated and target-driven with a strong interest in building or developing your career in sales.
  • Confident communicator with strong telephone and relationship-building skills.
  • Organised, self-disciplined and able to manage priorities effectively.
  • Resilient and proactive when engaging with new prospects.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Experience in inside sales, SDR or call centre environments is desirable.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
