Job type: Permanent contract

Hours: 30 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, 14:00 to 20:00. Note: Saturday and Sunday working required as per rota, with Sunday hours 11:00 to 17:00.

Part of a team of multi‑drop drivers, you will deliver much more than parcels, ensuring our customers’ days are a little bit brighter. However, it’s not just about driving and deliveries. Prep your van and workload for the day, and use route‑planning technology tools to ensure each parcel gets to the right place at the right time. You deliver much more than parcels—you deliver for the people.

  • Upbeat, self‑motivated and thrive whilst working independently

  • Comfortable interacting with customers, acting as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail
  • Happy to work in the afternoon and early evenings
  • Enjoy a multi‑drop driving role, delivering parcels across the week in the assigned area
  • Possess a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

  • A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 per hour (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours)
  • Paid overtime, with an enhanced rate of 1.25 for any hours worked over 40 hours a week
  • 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to your working hours if below 40 hours per week)
