Delivery Postie with Driving Job reference: 337132 Location: Plymouth Delivery Office, PL7 2DR Job type: 9 months Fixed Term contract Hours: 25.00 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 days (Monday to Sunday), working between 07:00 and 18:00, supporting 2 separate shifts: 07:00–16:00 Letter Deliveries or 09:00–18:00 Collections/Parcel Deliveries. Due to operational demand, you will be required to work one in four Sundays at Plymouth City, Breakwater Road, PL9 7XX, working between either 08:00–16:00 or 12:00–19:00. Responsibilities Deliver letters, postcards, envelopes, as well as collect parcels and other mail items to customers and businesses, following the route plan, adhering to safety and customer service standards. Operate a mobile van/truck and the associated equipment. Drive between delivery locations and return to the base. Observe Sunday and public holiday requirements. Maintain a professional appearance and deliver both regular and bulk items.
