Job Title and Location
Delivery Postie with Driving – Rainham (South East) Delivery Office, ME8 0QN (Permanent contract, 30 hours per week, Monday – Sunday, 14:00-20:00 Mon‑Sat, 13:00-19:00 Sun). 1 in 3 Sundays per month.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide range of parcels, letters and other items to customers across the local community.
- Maintain safe and timely delivery schedules, including handling of items during adverse weather.
- Operate the delivery vehicle safely, complying with all road safety rules and Royal Mail procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
- Organised, punctual and dedicated to delivering excellent customer service.
- Friendly face within the community, calm and approachable to customers.
- Ready to walk long distances and work in all weather.
- Strong sense of community, takes pride in the job.
- Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
