Hours: 38 [[zworkinghours and days]], with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Tuesday to Saturday 00:24 - 08:00

Why this role pays off:

Starting salary: £25,201 per year, £12.71 per hour
After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour
Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
Paid weekday and weekend overtime
Additional Allowances:

  • Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
  • Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)

What you'll be doing

  • Unloading / Loading parcels
  • Sorting parcels to correct delivery route / preparing trailer ready for the drivers / onward transport
  • Providing a friendly, dependable service - whether it's a birthday gift or important business mail

What we're looking for

  • A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points.
  • Someone with good attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
  • Someone who's friendly, dependable, and customer focused
  • Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
