The predicted salary is between 50000 - 60000 € per year.

Competitive salary plus 18% annual bonus potential, £4,200 car allowance or £3,700 cash equivalent, 27.5 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, and a company pension scheme with highly competitive contribution rates. Full time, permanent. Location: Royal Mail, 185 Farringdon Road, London, EC1A 1AA. Hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office.

About the role

At Royal Mail, reward plays a vital role in supporting our people and enabling the successful delivery of our business priorities. We're now looking for a Reward Analyst to join our Reward team and help deliver fair, competitive and well governed reward outcomes across the Group. In this role, you'll provide high quality analysis, modelling and insight across our core reward processes. You'll work closely with HR colleagues, Finance and senior stakeholders to ensure our pay, bonus and incentive frameworks are applied consistently, transparently and in line with both market practice and organisational priorities.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the delivery of annual pay review and bonus cycles, including detailed modelling, cost analysis and validation
  • Owning reward modelling for bonus plans, working closely with Finance to support year end processes
  • Supporting market benchmarking activity and interpreting external data to inform pay positioning and salary range design
  • Working with HR Business Partners to support informed and consistent pay and incentive decisions
  • Producing clear, insightful reporting on reward outcomes, trends and risks, translating complex data into practical insights
  • Acting as a job evaluation specialist, undertaking role evaluations and providing guidance to HR and managers
  • Supporting reward related communications, guidance and manager toolkits
  • Identifying opportunities to improve reward processes, tools and data quality
  • Supporting compliance activity, including Gender Pay Gap analysis

What we're looking for

  • Broad experience in compensation practices including market benchmarking, job evaluation, annual reward cycles (pay and bonus)
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas clearly and at a senior level
  • Advanced analytical and modelling skills
  • Strong relationship building skills, able to work effectively across a wide range of stakeholders
  • Good commercial awareness and the ability to apply reward solutions pragmatically
  • Strong planning and project management skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset

Experience

  • Experience working with large and complex data sets, particularly modelling pay or bonus outcomes
  • Experience in a large, complex organisation, ideally within a unionised environment (desirable)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Degree educated or equivalent relevant work experience
