HR Business Partner
Salary: £45,944 plus 10% annual bonus (subject to eligibility) 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays pro rata and company pension scheme.

Location: Royal Mail, Cardiff Mail Centre, CF11 8TA. This is a hybrid/ field-based role with travel to Royal Mail operational sites across the whole of Wales as the business requires.
Are you a HR Business Partner looking to make an impact within a large value driven organisation?
We are looking for a driven and self-motivated HR Business Partner for the next 15 months to support senior operational leaders in building the capability of the operation to achieve and deliver short term business performance targets and the longer-term strategy.
This exciting and challenging role will allow you to play a significant part as we drive to improve engagement and the culture across our operations in Cardiff and surrounding geographical areas. Travel to Royal Mail operational sites covering the whole of Wales is expected in this role as the business requires.
About the role
- You\’ll provide informed HR consulting to stakeholders to ensure that business and people plan, and priorities are aligned for the next 15 months working alongside the Senior HRBP for Wales
- To create sustainable value through People Plans focused on transformational and cultural change.
- Ensuring strong controls and promote operational compliance to support operational process, effectiveness, and compliance.
- Subject matter expertise: Give Senior Operations team expert advice and guidance, using robust management information and high-quality reporting and planning to inform decision-making and action.
- You\’ll work with the Senior Operations Teams to promote a culture that delivers on promises and through this supports a more trusting workplace with improved relationships at all levels, you\’ll ensure the minimum standards and services are provided as agreed, providing the link between the region and the function on any issues, changes and performance improvement required.
- You\’ll be key in collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure the appropriate governance and deployment of cyclical people processes including performance conversations, talent, and trust.
About You
To be truly successful in this role, you\’ll need to have worked as a HR Business Partner and have experience of partnering with senior level stakeholders and demonstrate the following skills and experience on your CV:
Trusted advisor, able to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders to effectively challenge and build trust.
Previous experience preferably within a large operational people driven environment.
Resilient and tenacious and to think critically and logically.
Change management experience and supporting the deployment of change.
Demonstrable experience in creating and delivering a people plan along with balancing multiple priorities at once.
Deep understanding of business and commercial challenges and future business strategy and how these impact on the customer.
A self-starter that can give direction and take direction when required.
A coaching style that can adapt in approach to support and challenge operations to deliver HR priorities.
CIPD qualified.
Worked with trade unions.
