Location: Glasgow Workshop
We're recruiting Level 3 qualified HGV and LCV mechanics on a permanent contract, with potential to earn up to £50k including overtime.
Working Hours
Full time – 39.5 hours per week (excluding meal breaks). Rotating shift pattern:
- Week 1: 06:00 – 14:30
- Week 2: 09:45 – 18:00
- Week 3: 13:45 – 21:45
Required 1 in 3 Saturday/Sunday shifts from 06:00 – 14:30 with weekday days off.

Position Overview
You will perform a full range of inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures on a variety of vehicles, trailers and mechanical equipment. You will use your personal toolkit for routine maintenance and repair of light and heavy goods vehicles, while having access to specialist tooling and shared equipment in our modern, fully equipped workshops.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections, diagnostics and maintenance on LCVs and HGVs.
- Repair light and heavy goods vehicles using personal and shared tools.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and safety.
- Support the team on flexible shift rosters and when needed.
Qualifications
- IMI Level 3 (Light or Heavy vehicle) or equivalent advanced mechanic qualification.
- Own toolkit for standard repairs.
- Proven vehicle technician experience on a wide range of vehicles, including LCV and HGV.
- Full manual UK driving licence, preferably an HGV licence with trailer experience.
- High working standards and pride in craftsmanship.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating shift rota and willingness to support the team.
