Hours: 24 hours per week, working 5 days across Mon‑Sun, 13:45 – 18:45.
Pushing the boundaries of Royal Mail, this role places you at the heart of our daily delivery network. As a Collections and Network Driver you will not only drive between points of collection and sorting hubs but also gather mail directly from customers and post offices, ensuring each piece reaches its destination on time.
Responsibilities
- Deliver collections and network items across designated routes, including letters, parcels, election materials and specific items such as food or alcohol.
- Check and collect mail from post‑boxes and post offices, and visit business customers at prearranged times to collect and drop off mailbags.
- Sort and manage mailbags on the route, verifying each item for correct handling and delivery timing.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to Royal Mail business standards.
- Provide outstanding service and act as a trusted brand ambassador for the local community.
Qualifications
- Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
- People‑person who enjoys interacting with customers.
- Comfortable walking long periods and working outdoors in all weather.
- Strong sense of community and pride in work.

- Fully valid UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
