Collection and Network Driver

Location: Sunderland City Delivery Office, SR5 2TG
Job type: Permanent contract
Hours: 20:00 hours per week, working 5 days across Tuesday – Saturday, working between 15:00 and 19:00
Due to operational demand, you will be required to work on every Saturday.
It’s not just about driving and deliveries. You will also check post-boxes, pop into post offices, visit our business customers at a prearranged time to collect the mail, and drop it off at our processing centres. You’ll sort out your mailbags and make sure each piece gets to the right place at the right time.

- Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

- A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 p/h, paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours
- Paid overtime with an enhanced rate of 1.25× for any hours worked over 40 hours a week
- 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to your working hours if below 40 hours a week) and the option to buy extra leave each year
