How to prepare for a job interview at Royal Mail Group

Know Your Route

Familiarise yourself with the delivery area and routes you might be covering. This shows that you're proactive and ready to hit the ground running. Plus, it’ll help you answer questions about how you’d handle different situations on your route.

Show Off Your People Skills

As a Postie, you'll be the friendly face in the community. Be prepared to share examples of how you've provided great customer service in the past. Think of times when you’ve gone above and beyond to help someone – this will highlight your people skills.

Be Ready for the Weather

Driving Licence Matters

Make sure you have your driving licence details handy, as they’ll want to verify this. Be honest about your driving history and any points on your licence. It’s better to be upfront than to risk it coming up later in the process.
