About the role
To ensure all operational and customer labels are printed and despatched to mail centres within agreed timescales. Maintain and store raw label stocks and undertake regular audits.
Responsibilities
- Take part in daily huddles to discuss and prioritise workload and apportion responsibilities between various rotating tasks within Central Print Site (CPS) team.
- Action all label orders received on Royal Mail Consignment Label Printer System (RMCLPS).
- Prioritise urgent or new label orders.
- Print labels.
- Sort printed labels to appropriate mail centre container, ensuring trays are clearly labelled.
- Consolidate and despatch printed label trays on the mail centre 2c outward despatch (Tues-Fri only).
- Print generic contingency labels and distribute nationally, when instructed.
- Receive new raw stocks from external supplies, checking supplies against invoice and highlighting discrepancies to CPS Manager.
About You
- Good appreciation of Royal Mail operations.
- Basic knowledge of circulation, with an understanding of Royal Mail Consignment Labelling System RMCLPS. (training will be given on this system)
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational, planning and prioritisation skills.
- Computer literate.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Ability to work as a part of a team, rotating around various print site tasks.
