Location: Northern Ireland Mail Centre, Enterprise Way, Newtownabbey, BT36 4HQ (involving travel across various Royal Mail sites)
Salary: £15,199 - £22,591 (depending on age)
Hours/Shifts: 37.5 hours per week - shifts will be aligned to a mentor when starting

What You Will Do
- Work with skilled engineers and learn how to:
- Help install and fix fire alarms, burglar alarms, CCTV cameras, and door entry systems
- Check systems to make sure they are working well
- Find simple problems and help fix them
- Follow safety rules at all times
- Travel to different Royal Mail sites
- Write simple reports on a tablet or computer
Learn While You Work
- Work towards a Level 3 apprenticeship
- Learn on the job and in training
- Build skills in electrical systems, safety rules, and problem solving
- Get help from friendly experts and mentors

You’ll Need
- Maths and English at Level 4 (or ability to achieve this during the apprenticeship)
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs in total (Grade 4/C or above), ideally including a Science or Technical subject (or equivalent)
- Basic computer skills
- Willing to travel for work
- A driving licence (or happy to get one)
