We have an exciting Senior Actuarial Trainee position within the Investment Office team. The team delivers trusted investment expertise across Royal London’s investment propositions to help achieve good outcomes for customers. This role delivers analytical support to review and determine the investment strategies used to provide multi-asset propositions, as well as reviewing new fund proposals, and supporting a variety of investment projects across the team when required.
A generous support package is available for the successful role holder to complete the actuarial study pathway towards qualification as an Actuary. Applicants progressing towards the CFA qualification (and have passed level 1) are also very welcome.
About the Role:- Review and determine investment strategies.
- Undertake technical analysis using various analytical techniques.
- Provide insight and interpretation of data and results to colleagues across the team and the wider business.
- Challenge and improve processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Progressing through specialist stages of actuarial qualification or equivalent recognised qualification level such as CFA l.
- Good understanding of investment markets and typical investment strategies used for Defined Contribution pensions.
- Good understanding of life and pensions products.
- Good verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
