We have an exciting opportunity for a focused Project Manager to join our Technology and Change team working with our Engagement Services Platform. Within this role you will plan and manage various aspects of the programme delivery to deliver the capability required by Royal London to support our Bulk Purchase Annuities business. About The Role
- Provide leadership to the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
- Ensure stakeholders are engaged appropriately at all levels of the organisation
- Effectively create and manage a plan of activity to ensure successful completion of project deliverables
- Ensure dependencies are understood and managed
- Define and agree required level of project resource needed for successful project delivery
- Manage risks and issues, understanding a wider risk context associated with thebusiness and the delivery, escalating where appropriate
- Build a collaborative relationshipwith 3rd parties to manage delivery of project outcomes
- Implement an appropriate level of governance in-line with Group methods
About You
- A strong proven background of delivering projects within a matrix style organisation
- Working experience in project management delivering both business and technical change initiatives
- Experience of Agile delivery practices
- Knowledge of the full Software Development Delivery Lifecycle
- The ability to solve and unblock issues within teams ordepartments
- The skills to build consensus betweenorganisations or highly independent and diversestakeholders
- Proactivity and future thinking around the managementand control ofproject costs and benefits
- Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate, and enhance performance within a cross – functional environment
- Experience of leading project teams, building and maintaining the trust, confidence, commitment and collaboration of others
