Royal London is currently recruiting for an IT Infrastructure Administrator to join our IT Support team and be responsible for IT support in Glasgow.
The main purpose of the role is to provide technical support to Royal London colleagues for all hardware and software across the group.
About the role
- Providing professional IT 2nd Line support to all Royal London colleagues via our Incident and Service Request processes.
- Supporting both hardware and software across the group.
- Proactively managing your workload and work queue.
- Liaising with colleagues in the IT Service Desk & 3rd line Specialist teams to resolve issues and share knowledge.
- Identifying opportunities for service improvements and process enhancements.
- Supporting the delivery and implementation of projects.
About you
- Previous experience in a 2nd or 3rd line IT support role supporting customers in-house and virtually.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including AD, Exchange, Teams, Office 365, and support experience with Windows 10 & 11 clients.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Enjoy problem-solving with a positive attitude.
- Understanding of system and process automation.
- Knowledge of Networks (WAN/LAN/Security/WiFi), Monitoring, Unix, and storage technologies.
