The Cybersecurity Business Partner for RLAM/ RLDAC is a senior role focused on aligning the RLDAC / RLAM\’s business objectives with cybersecurity initiatives. Reporting into the Group CSO office, this position will play a crucial role in securing enterprise environments within the complex financial services landscape while enabling business agility.

About the role

  • Significant experience in cybersecurity within the financial services sector, ideally with a background in asset management.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity regulatory requirements in the Irish financial sector, particularly the Central Bank of Ireland’s IT and Cybersecurity Guidelines, including the Cross-Industry guidance on Operational Resilience, and familiarity with frameworks such as DORA.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise security, including risk management, threat landscapes, and regulatory compliance in financial services.
  • Proven experience in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including executives, with clarity and confidence.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance security with business agility, offering pragmatic, tailored solutions that support business growth and resilience.
  • Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with cybersecurity tools, frameworks, and best practices relevant to financial services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex cybersecurity topics for non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with common cyber security frameworks (e.g NIST, ISO 27001), threats and controls.

  • Demonstrable experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in within regulated financial services.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including technology, risk, and compliance.
  • Experience building and executing cybersecurity roadmaps that align with enterprise and asset management business plans.
