We currently have a new opportunity for a Compliance Analyst to join the Risk and Compliance team at Royal London Asset Management.
As a Compliance Analyst, you will interact with all levels of internal stakeholders within our organisation. You will be joining an established and supportive team where we will encourage your learning, development and study towards relevant qualifications.
The Compliance Team is responsible for partnering with the business to ensure RLAM maintains a robust approach to regulatory compliance with effective controls operating.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to further develop their knowledge and understanding of Asset Management compliance.
About the role
- Support the day-to-day work of the Compliance team such as supporting on close and continuing monitoring, delivering the thematic compliance monitoring program or providing advice to the business.
- Maintain RLAM’s Conflicts of Interest register and assisting in the management of PA Dealing using My Compliance Office.
- Assist members of the compliance team with preparation of papers for governance and oversight committees; this may include presenting issues to committees and Boards as required.
- Prepare and deliver training on key issues and regulatory changes
About you
- Prior experience of investments activities in an asset management business within a relevant role.
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
- Good experience of Word, Excel PowerPoint, Power BI
- Understanding of data organisation
- Some experience within an operational asset management environment (UK or EU).
- Knowledge of investment matters in UCITS and AIFMD
- SI / IAQ / IMC qualified or willing to study towards with support.
- Understanding of UK, Irish and EU compliance and regulatory requirements.
