About the role
– Lead or support solution design across complex programmes including Policy Admin System migrations, data platform evolution, and digital transformation.
– Translate business needs into executable architecture using C4, ArchiMate, and modern frameworks.
– Collaborate across architecture layers — security, infrastructure, data, integration, and networks.
– Influence enterprise direction through cloud, AI, observability, and simplification strategies.
– Mentor peers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and architectural excellence.
What you\’ll bring
– Proven experience in solution architecture within regulated industries (financial services, pensions, insurance preferred).
– Hands-on expertise with Azure, .NET, Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, REST APIs, CI/CD, and container orchestration.
– Strong grasp of Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architecture, and modern integration patterns.
– Engineering background with fluency in Java, .NET, Python, and modern frontend frameworks.
– Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
