We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our dynamic RLAM Change team on a permanent basis in London.
You will deliver change projects which support achievements of the Group strategy in an effective and efficient manner. You will ensure business outcomes are clearly understood and associated solutions are delivered to enable the business to release benefits on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
To be successful in this role you will have strong experience in Front Office projects such as, Private Assets, property, and illiquid assets, driving our strategy of growing our 3rd Party business and continuously improving our service to clients.
About the role
- Planning and leading the delivery of the whole change lifecycle for projects.
- Developing and leading cross functional change teams which may include both task and line/people management, establishing an environment of trust and empowerment.
- Developing and agreeing budgets for projects, controlling forecasts and actual costs against these.
- Identifying and monitoring project risks, planning and implementing responses to these and responding to other issues that may affect projects and portfolios.
- Developing, maintaining, and applying quality management processes for project activities and outputs.
- Managing stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests.
- Establishing and managing reviews at appropriate points during and after projects, which will inform governance of projects by providing evaluations of progress, methodologies and continuing relevance.
About you
- Experience of leading project teams with minimal support and supervision.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Experience and/or knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery practices.
- Ability to work effectively on multiple, concurrent, or competing projects.
- Highly competent in using planning tools and experienced in implementing and operating financial control frameworks.
- Has previously delivered Change Projects in a Financial Services organisation.
- Front Office projects delivery experience is desirable.
- Asset Management Experience is desirable.
- Experience in alternative asset classes (e.g. Real Estate) is desirable.
