Renowned for delivering high-quality specialist vehicles, they are looking for a Quality Control Technician to support quality investigations, drive continuous improvement, and help maintain the highest manufacturing standards.
Responsibilities
- Investigate quality issues and conduct structured root cause analysis.
- Analyse findings and present clear reports to internal stakeholders.
- Support and deliver corrective and preventive actions across multiple departments.
- Use metrology equipment, including CMMs and laser scanners, to support investigations.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to identify quality issues.
- Produce high-quality investigation reports and presentations.
- Manage investigations to agreed timescales while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience investigating quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Confident use of measurement equipment and quality tools.
- Experience with CMMs, laser scanners, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of 3D CAD, PolyWorks, GD&T, or LEAN principles is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
- Level 3 qualification (or above) in a relevant engineering or quality discipline.
