Company: A well-established aerospace manufacturing company based in Nuneaton is currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter Operator to join their growing production team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a precision engineering environment producing high-quality aerospace components to tight tolerances.

The

Role: As a CNC Miller Setter Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines to manufacture precision aerospace components in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Setting and operating CNC milling machines
  • Working from engineering drawings and specifications
  • Producing precision aerospace components to tight tolerances
  • Carrying out basic editing and offsets where required
  • Using measuring equipment including vernirs, micrometers and gauges
  • Conducting first-off and in-process inspection checks
  • Maintaining high quality and housekeeping standards
  • Working efficiently to production targets and deadlines

About You

  • Previous experience as a CNC Miller Setter Operator
  • Experience within aerospace or precision engineering environments preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience using measuring equipment
  • Knowledge of Fanuc or similar controls advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
  • Reliable with a good attitude towards teamwork and production
