Our client, a well-established and expanding automotive retailer, is seeking a professional Vehicle Preparation Technician to join their busy workshop in Leamington Spa.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles, adhering to manufacturer standards.
  • Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs.
  • Conduct visual inspections of vehicle interiors and exteriors to identify defects or issues.
  • Fit approved accessories and perform minor adjustments as required.
  • Complete all necessary documentation prior to vehicle handover.
  • Execute road tests to verify repairs and adjustments where applicable.
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and to high-quality standards.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or currently working towards this qualification).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Proven mechanical skills and diagnostic ability.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Previous experience in a main dealer, independent garage, fast-fit centre, or similar environment is preferred.
