We are currently looking for a passionate Casual Night Security Officer to join our Security Department on a casual basis, with an immediate start to join us in consistently delivering memorable moments and five star service to our guests and each other. It is important to us that everyone in the team brings positive energy to support our happy and fun environment, as we strive to build a community of diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
As a Casual Night Security Officer, your main duties and expectations for the role will include:
- Complete and maintain administrative reports such as handovers, activity logs and incident/accident reports.
- Responding to and dealing with emergencies such as VRF alarms, refuge alarms, intruder, fire alarm activations, accidents and incidents.
- Assisting with investigating incidents and accidents to prevent recurrence.
- Escalating emergencies to emergency services and management as required.
- Managing access to the hotel, events spaces and bedrooms by ensuring all contractors/visitors are registered and issuing keys to authorised employees, visitors and contractors as required.
- Patrolling the premises to identify any safety and security hazards and make safe/report these accordingly.
You will work the hours according to your availability and business needs, just notify your manager and they will schedule your shifts accordingly.
