We are currently looking for a passionate Casual Kitchen Porter to join our Stewarding Department on a casual basis, with an immediate start to join us in consistently delivering memorable moments and five star service to our guests and each other. It is important to us that everyone in the team brings positive energy to support our happy and fun environment, as we strive to build a community of diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
As a Casual Kitchen Porter, your main duties and expectations for the role will include:
- Ensure all mise-en-place requisitions are fulfilled to the required amount and in a timely manner
- Set up and attend a weekly meeting with the Banqueting head waiter responsible for the requisitions and discuss set up timing and any possible issue with fulfilling the requisitions for the week ahead
- Carry out a monthly stock take of operating equipment in banqueting areas and store and report to Back of House Manager/ Assistant Back of House Manager
- Assist and co-ordinate all set ups on the day of the event, brief and co-ordinate assigned team members to ensure all aspects of the function are covered, clearing stations organized, plating team, service team and closing team are briefed and in place at the time required
- To conduct checks on assigned areas to establish cleaning and mise-en place needs
You will work the hours according to your availability and business needs, just notify your manager and they will schedule your shifts accordingly.
