We are currently looking for a passionate Commis Chef, to join our Kitchen Department on a permanent basis, with an immediate start to join us in consistently delivering memorable moments and five star service to our guests and each other. It is important to us that everyone in the team brings positive energy to support our happy and fun environment, as we strive to build a community of diverse backgrounds and life experiences, where we care about careers and not just jobs.
As a Commis Chef, your main duties and expectations for the role will include:
- Be compliant in the preparation and service of dishes as laid down by the departments SOP and in line with company red star standards.
- To assist in ensuring all mis en place is stored, date coded and rotated in line with the company food safety policy.
- To assist in completing the daily check list regarding mis en place and food storage.
- To carry out all reasonable requests ensuring the quality of work is in line with the company red star standards.
- Ensure understanding and compliance of the hotels food and health and safety policies.
- Receive and act on constructive positive and negative feedback from senior members of the team.
You will be required to work 40 hours per week, on a shift rota.
