We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Draughtsperson to join our Mechanical Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have practical, hands‐on manufacturing experience which can translate real‐world production knowledge into high‐quality technical drawings. Working closely with engineers as part of a project team, contributing to the design and development of innovative solutions. You will also be expected to work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Engineers to create detailed design drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the project team, as required.
  • Work independently to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Design Draughtsperson in the Mechanical Engineering sector.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor).
  • Experience in the use of Teamcenter PLM would be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Prior knowledge of Subsea technologies and/or cable lay equipment is highly beneficial.
