A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Special Events Assistant to join the highly successful RHS Special Events team, who sit within the RHS Shows department. The RHS Shows team deliver world-renowned flower shows including RHS Chelsea Flower Show, and are entering an exciting period of growth by launching new shows over the next few years.
The successful candidate will assist the team with delivery of the RHS Special Events portfolio, providing support to maximise profit across all events whilst delivering on brand and messaging for the RHS’ charitable purpose.

Overview of the Role:
With a keen interest in events organisation and creation, you will take ownership of specific groups of clients including Gala Dinner guests and exhibitors attending the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Charity Gala Preview, and lead on internal invitation-only events including the annual RHS Awards Ceremony.
As an extremely organised person, you will be able to work on more than one project simultaneously, supporting the team in administrative tasks such as processing invoices, reconciling accounts, preparing documents for external stakeholders and keeping spreadsheets up-to-date. Aspects of the role will also include phone and email correspondence with internal stakeholders and external clients, you will therefore use your excellent people skills to answer queries ensuring the highest standard of customer service at all times.
