Applications are invited for the post of Employability Consultant in Royal Holloway Careers Service. Royal Holloway’s RH2030s strategy sets a bold direction for delivering careers education that is inclusive, industry-connected, and future-focused. In response, the Careers Service is transforming its approach to align with this vision through embedding employability within the curriculum, strengthening partnerships with industry, and ensuring all students are equipped with the skills, experiences, and confidence to succeed in a rapidly evolving world of work. We are committed to delivering accessible, impactful employability support that reflects the diverse ambitions and needs of our community throughout their student journey to get future ready.
We are seeking a proactive and student-focused Employability Consultant to join our evolving Careers Service. In line with the university’s RH2030s strategy, you will lead on delivering inclusive employability support across academic schools, managing an Employability Coordinator, and collaborate with academic staff to co-design and embed Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG), mentoring, and work-based learning opportunities directly into the curriculum.
The role involves working closely with employers and industry partners to enhance work-based learning and student outcomes, while using digital tools and data systems to track impact and inform improvements. You will contribute to an innovative, accessible careers service that equips all students with the confidence, skills, and experience to thrive in a changing world of work.
