About The Role
Clearing plays a vital part in Royal Holloway’s recruitment of Undergraduate students. We are looking for around 20 people to help field calls from students interested in coming to Royal Holloway via Clearing.
Clearing is a special application route for students that opens from July through UCAS. It is only for students who already have completed their high school qualifications (e.g., A-Levels, BTEC, etc.) and have their final grades. Interested students contact Universities with available places, receive verbal offers, and then accept which of these verbal offers they would like to accept via UCAS.
At Royal Holloway, Clearing applicants who phone us are screened by a Front-line call centre on UK Results Day, which can see a list of our Clearing entry requirements. If callers meet these requirements, they are transferred to a Decision-making call centre where they are formally assessed by a Royal Holloway staff member.
We are seeking 20 students to staff our Front-line call centre.

- Excellent Customer Service skills
