This role will provide you with this opportunity whilst working within our market leading environmental consultancy team.
We have extensive experience in delivering environmental services across a range of developments, from National Significant Infrastructure Projects through to smaller planning applications. We have successfully supported our clients in delivering sustainable projects in sectors including renewables, water, industry, ports, charities, and the public sector.
Job Role: Due to continued growth in a variety of markets including offshore wind (especially in Round 4 and Scotwind) and the ports sector, we are looking to grow our team and are seeking Principal / Senior Environmental Consultants, with specific expertise in HRA. The need for HRA (potentially including developing a derogation case) is increasingly a key part of the consenting of our projects, in particular offshore wind. The successful applicant will have a background in HRA delivery for the marine and / or coastal environment, and ideally have experience of preparing derogation cases and potential compensation measures.
The successful applicant will be expected to:
- Lead the delivery of HRAs for offshore wind, marine and port developments;
- Prepare the derogation case, alongside project teams;
- Develop and provide advice on potential compensation measures;
- Lead consultation with stakeholders on the HRA and potential compensation measures;
- Have excellent written and verbal communication, organisational, analytical and time management skills.
