What Will You Do
- Develop engineering design solutions for maritime civil structures in ports and shipyards, using materials such as steel, concrete, and timber, in accordance with relevant codes.
- Be involved in all project phases—from inception to demolition and recycling—and act as a Project or Technical Manager depending on project size.
- Guide junior staff and liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
- Design and analyse maritime structures for ports and shipyards.
- Conduct inspections and surveys.
- Create and review design calculations and models.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities, Contracts, and Specifications.
- Undertake structural analysis and reporting.
- Present to clients, provide engineering advice, and review reports, ensuring high standards of written English.
- Contribute to business development through proposals and client interactions.
