Royal Hampton is a Luxurious 73 bed Care Setting in Ponteland. We offer luxurious accommodation for our residents in beautiful surroundings. We are developing a care team which is dedicated to putting our residents first, providing high quality nursing care and to assist in identifying and addressing the health and social care of a wide variety of residents. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, caring, professional Day Shift Nurse to help with the management of the home.
Key Skills
- To assess and evaluate the quality of care given to our residents.
- Administer and order medicines as required by our residents and the homes policies and procedures.
- Liaise with out of hours services.
- Work closely with our members of our care team as the Charge Nurse ensuring effective high quality care is given, to achieve planned goals and support staff.
- Attend and participate in relevant staff meetings, take a lead role in staff supervisions and appraisals.
- Work in collaboration with the Clinical Lead, Assistant Manager and Home Manager, to ensure quality assurance/monthly audits are completed.
- Work in partnership with residents, families and friends planning and reviewing care plans.
