Royal Hampton Care Home is a Luxury Care Setting in Ponteland. We are looking to recruit a Front of House/Kitchen assistant to join our existing team. We are keen to attract kind, caring, professional staff who really care and will go the extra mile for their residents.
Key Tasks
- At all times maintain effective communication and liaison with the Crown Care Group home manager, Head Chef and Chef to ensure the smooth, safe and effective provision of catering/food services.
- Assist the Head Chef/Chef in preparing nutritious, balanced meals consistent with the needs and choices of service users.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the kitchen, dining and storage areas.
- Keep food free from harmful bacteria and disease.
- Be responsible (under the supervision of the Head Chef) for the serving and removal of food.
- Promote and display a professional image commensurate with the high standards of the Crown Care Group.
- In conjunction with the wider care team, adhere to the home’s philosophies and goals and statement of purpose.
- Show hosting skills by offering visitors and guests refreshments.
- Ensure the home’s bar area is stocked and kept clean.
- Ensure all dining and Bistro areas are kept tidy, set up and well stocked with foodstuffs, beverages, cutlery and crockery.
- Ensure appropriate music is being played at all times.
- Help with special events.
- Ensure correct menus for each day are available and displayed throughout the home on stands and tables.
- Maintain appropriate workflow in the kitchen by assuring prompt clearing and washing of dishes, crockery, pots and pans.
