Royal Greenwich Integrated Commissioning is recruiting for a Personalised Commissioning Officer (part‑time) to join our Children’s Services workforce.

This role focuses on helping vulnerable children by sourcing and negotiating bespoke care packages, building collaborative relationships with social workers and providers, and ensuring children receive stable, loving care in suitable homes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the commissioning of individual support packages for children.
  • Work with children’s social workers, service leaders in social care, and a range of independent and voluntary sector providers including fostering agencies, supported accommodation and residential homes.
  • Develop relationships and secure provision that meets Greenwich’s requirements and standards.
  • Support the new vision for commissioning within Children’s Services by building on collective strengths to make a real difference to the lives of children, young people and their families.
