We are looking for someone who will manage a team developing policies and projects to promote the Council’s corporate approach to sustainability. The successful candidate will also plan and manage reports on the council's delivery programme as well as the council's Carbon Neutral Plan.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent with relevant work experience. In addition, you will need to demonstrate:
- Proven experience of the formulation, development and delivery of overarching/holistic sustainability strategies and programmes
- Experience of partnership working with public agencies, private and community sectors
- Experience of managing operational & project based budgets
- Ability to lead and manage staff teams
