Hours:30 per week – 39 weeks per year Reporting to: Trust Inclusion Lead, Headteacher, SENDCo

Candidates must be willing to become part of our whole school team and should be hard working, highly positive and able to use their initiative.
They should be adaptable, creative and able to communicate well with adults and children.
The ideal candidate will have a real passion to work with children and understand the importance of nurture within the primary school whilst maintaining high expectations and standards.
Requirements
- Level 4 or above
- Have experience of working with children with multiple and complex needs.
- Have experience of working within a specialist provision, including Local Authority Resource Base or School Based Resource Base
- Support compliance with the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
- Complement the work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities both in and out of school, under an agreed system of supervision that supports the teacher with learning outcomes.
- Provide high quality support in relation to the raising of educational achievement and to encourage pupils to become independent learners.
- Coordinate with the class teacher and SENDCo to organise, facilitate and support pupils when in the SEND Learning Hub.
- Coordinate, plan, deliver and assess a caseload of pupils requiring ELSA support.
