The Accountancy Service of the Finance Directorate currently has a vacancy for 1 Finance Officer (Scale 5), to be part of teams providing accounting and business support across a range of financial services. These posts present an excellent opportunity to develop your career through gaining experience within the Council’s corporate accountancy service in these challenging times.

Who we are looking for:
Finance Assistant responsibilities include:
- Providing support for a defined range of financial processes e.g. budgets, monitoring, reconciliations, maintaining financial records, transactions and controls.
- Providing advice to service managers and others on agreed financial procedures.
- Working independently and collaboratively to utilise capabilities with Excel, other IT and communication skills to analyse and prepare financial information in a clear and timely manner.
