We are looking for an inspirational teacher with vision and high expectations for learning to join us, inspiring children and promoting excellence. Our school is a small, diverse, and friendly one form entry primary school located in the borough of Royal Greenwich, with a calm and purposeful environment that challenges and extends children. The school values and provides a rich, broad and well‑planned curriculum, and encourages children to explore literature, learn about key people, use the local area for learning, and develop arts and physical skills to support future life choices.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for and teach a class of children, ensuring that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs.
  • Undertake duties in line with the professional standards for qualified teachers and uphold the professional code of the General Teaching Council for England.
  • Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Contribute to constructive team building amongst staff, parents and governors.
