The Graduate Sports Assistant will support the PE & Sport department in Blackheath Prep, assisting with academic, pastoral and co‑curricular activities. The role will support classes aligned with the assistant’s skill set and perform various administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering physical education lessons to students aged 3 to 11.
- Provide pastoral support during PE sessions and other sports activities.
- Help maintain and prepare sports equipment and facilities.
- Carry out general administrative tasks related to the sports department.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate level or higher education in a relevant field (e.g., sport, physical education, or related discipline).
- Interest and competence in working with children and young people.
- Basic understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
