Position: Administration Assistant – 35 Hours per week (8.30am – 4.30pm)
Salary: Scale 3 Point 5-6 – £26,971.15 – £27,356.92 Actual (35 hours per week, 41 weeks per year – term time plus 2 weeks)
Contract: Permanent
Start date: September 2026
Responsibilities
You will act as the first point of contact for children, families and visitors, setting the tone for every interaction and providing calm, organised support to a busy team. In this role you will:
- Receive and handle inquiries with reassurance and a warm smile
- Support the Senior Leadership Team by managing daily office operations and communications
- Ensure administrative systems are used efficiently and accurately
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuinely friendly, approachable manner
- Excellent organisation with the ability to juggle multiple priorities with confidence
- High levels of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Competence with administrative systems and technology
- Previous school experience and knowledge of school information systems is an advantage
