Royal Greenwich Trust School is looking to appoint a dedicated and professional Social and Academic Mentor to join our inclusive and forward‑thinking school community. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and ambitious secondary school committed to delivering outstanding support for our students and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Champion for vulnerable students through effective role modelling, forming positive relationships and utilising creative approaches which provide them with the skills to be successful and happy.
  • Provide targeted intervention and support to students within the key stage and contribute to the raising standards agenda.
  • Encourage and enable students to become independent and resilient learners by providing one‑to‑one and small group coaching in academic related skills, wellbeing, self‑management and emotional literacy.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A flexible and proactive team player, ready to contribute to school life.
  • Passionate about supporting young people to thrive.
  • Professional, organised, and committed to high standards.
  • Able to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS Check.
