Royal Greenwich Trust School is looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Facilities Officer to lead the delivery of high‑quality facilities management services across our school.

Responsibilities

  • Managing day‑to‑day facilities operations, health and safety compliance, statutory requirements and budgets.
  • Overseeing contractor performance against KPIs and SLAs.
  • Conducting site inspections and managing minor projects.
  • Handling out‑of‑hours and commercial lettings.
  • Serving as a key holder for emergency call‑outs.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing outsourced Facilities Management services.
  • Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation (NEBOSH or equivalent).
  • Experience of statutory compliance (fire, water, asbestos, etc.).
  • Proven budget‑management experience.
  • Confidence managing contractors against KPIs and SLAs.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CAFM systems.

Requirements

  • Hours of work will vary according to the rota system.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
