Royal Greenwich Trust School is looking to appoint a dedicated and professional Facilities Officer to join our inclusive and forward-thinking school community. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic, hands‑on individual to join a small but highly productive team within a growing and ambitious secondary school, committed to making a real difference for our students and staff.

As a Facilities Officer, you will:

  • Play a vital role in ensuring school buildings and grounds are safe, secure, compliant and well‑maintained, supporting a positive environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
  • Deliver a wide range of facilities services including reactive and planned maintenance, porterage, minor repairs, janitorial support, and room, event and sports set‑ups.
  • Act as a keyholder, supporting site security and fire safety, including opening and closing the site, responding to emergencies, and monitoring access, parking and alarms.
  • Promote high standards of health, safety and safeguarding, working with contractors and colleagues to ensure compliance with Trust policies and statutory requirements.
  • Work flexibly as part of a supportive facilities team, using the CAFM system to respond to requests, liaise with staff and service providers, and contribute to continuous improvement across the Trust.
